My husband and I are a 30 something couple not patiently waitng for the referral of our daughter. It's been almost 18 months and we are begining to see the light at the end of the tunnel. I have created this for our family and friends to follow as our dream of becoming parents unfolds. So please join us in this amazingly frustrating, and exciting journey to our daughter.

Hey Mya Mae, Dino, Cathy, and Bonnie----The pictures are so adorable!!! She get's cuter every time I see her...Love the hats and the bows!!!! She is going to be one spoiled little munchkin!!!! Can't wait till ya'll are back and we can start picking out flower girl dresses for her!!! I can hardly wait! Love ya'll bunches!

Karlee is a very beautiful little girl! I am so happy for both of you and I know ya'll are going to be WONDERFUL parents. She is very lucky to have not only 1 but 2 great people to call Mommy & Daddy.
I have been looking at the site everyday but for some reason unable to 'comment' from work.

Hi everyone! Just want to let you know we check the blog everyday and really enjoy looking at all the new pictures and hearing how things are going. Karlee is so so cute.All my family was here when we saw her the first time, it was pretty neat. Julie cried of course.Amy and I look everyday at the new pics. Hey guys! Isn't it wonderful with all the technology there is now days!!!! I can't wait to check the blog everyday to see new pics and hear what is going on. My heart swells even more every day when I see Ms. Karlee! I am so glad to hear that she is bonding well....Rob LOVES the pics of Daddy and Karlee!!! You are over half way through with this journey, enjoy EVERY minute of it. But we cannot wait for you all to get home. Give Karlee kisses and HUGS to Mommy & Daddy and big ones to both Grandmas!!!

Okay, I finally figured out how to post a comment. First let me start by saying everything is fine here. Me and the cats, and the liter boxes are having a great time :) No really everything is great. I can not express how happy I am for you all. I wanted to cry when i saw all the pics. You all deserve every bit of this happiness your feeling. She is just beautiful and you both look like naturals. Not so bad so far Mya, but I will still be the fly on the wall. ha ha

Duane, Mya, and Miss Karlee, I am so glad all of yals prayers have been answered. Karlee is a very lucky little girl to have such great parents. She is absolutely beautiful, and yal all look so happy. Mya I am so happy for you I know yals journey has been long but it will be worth every minute. Being a parent is the most wonderful thing even though it can be difficult. Well I can't wait to see yal. Enjoy your trip. Tell your Mom I said hi!!!!!!!
